HIGHLIGHT PERFORMANCE FOR A CHARITY FUNDRAISING EVENT
Elton Hall - in aid of Mencap for approximately 200 guests.
After a champagne reception Opera Interludes presented a highlight performance of Mozart's 'The Magic Flute' sung in English with piano and flute accompaniment and in costume. The performance which lasted an hour was then followed by dinner.

The opera evening at Elton Hall was really superb. The audience was quite captivated, and felt the
thrill of seeing the action at such close quarters. A truly dramatic as well as musical
entertainment. How wonderful that the event, which was so enjoyable, was able to raise such a
substantial amount for the very worthy cause.

'La Traviata' was a particular favourite of the client and it was decided to present a highlight performance in costume in the drawing room for an audience of fifty family and friends. The performance was preceded by a champagne reception and then after dinner the cast returned to sing a short selection of pieces selected by the client.

What a really fantastic performance you gave for my party which quite simply made the day. To
have the key scenes from my all time favourite opera performed in the perfect period setting and
at such close quarters is an experience I will never forget. The power of your voices was
remarkable and such a different, and in many ways much more exciting, experience from the opera
house. The acting and costumes were perfect too to complete the effect. Many of my guests have
said how they felt transported back in time. There wasn't a dry eye in the house for the tragic
final scene.
